Farragut Park-Buttonhook Bay-Lake Pend Oreille

Thursday Night Paddles are easy and casual trips of about 2 hours for the purpose of getting to know other paddlers, practicing good paddling and safety skills, and learning about paddling opportunities in the Coeur d'Alene area. The group leaves at 6:00 PM sharp! Please arrive in time to unload your boat, set up your gear, and check in with the Trip Coordinator. Thursday Night Paddles are open to non-members.

Difficulty:	Basic - Short (a few hours or half-day trip); usually flat water; good weather expected; mild conditions; although twilight visibility to darkness could be a factor if late in the day.
Location:	Lake Pend Oreille - Eagle Boat Launch
Directions:	Highway 95 North to Athol. Turn East at Highway 54. Proceed 4 miles to entrance of Farragut State Park After paying parking fee at visitor kiosk, proceed on Highway 54 1/2 mile to South Road. Turn right on South Road, proceed a few miles. Turn right at the road with the boat ramp sign. Follow road around to Eagle boat launch. There is a shallow beach to the right of the boat docks where canoes and kayaks can put in. Day use fee is $4 for standard vehicles.
