|  | Lake Pend Oreille Paddle and Picnic | The BBQ part of this paddle has been canceled and the time and location of the paddle has been changed.
We will launch from the Farragut Boat Launch and paddle to Button Hook Bay. Plan on arriving early as the parking at this launch fills up early and the Park Ranger closes off access when it's full. There are 5 single car parking spaces in the lot, next to the restroom and more along the right side of the road as you come in (shaded). Once you launch your boat from the left ramp go back and park your car, or you can use your wheels.
The park rangers made a boulder garden out of the beach on the right but there is a small beach on the left where we can launch 2 or 3 at a time, maintaining a social distance, or wait in the water for all to arrive.
For those desiring the social gathering, the Sunrise Day Use Area is a couple hundred yards to the East where we can eat our picnic lunches with enough room for maintaining a social distance.
You may bring a guest but please limit to one guest per Member and indicate you are bringing a guest in the comments when you register.
Access to Farragut requires a State Parks Pass.
