I consider this to be a very challenging experience for a flat water kayaker: maintaining position in windy conditions, swimmers hanging onto your kayak, maintaining vigilance for swimmers in distress. Oh yes, and getting up for a 5:00 am Safety Meeting | | When: | Sunday, June 26, 2022, 05:00 AM | | Location: | North Idaho College Beach | | Directions: | From Northwest Blvd, take River Avenue west to Rosenberry Drive (aka the dike road) one way along the Spokane River and CdA Lake. The NIC Beach (aka Sunspot) is by the brown recreation building on the lake side of the road which also has a grass area and volleyball courts.
