Spring Cocoa Classic-Fernan Lake-Public Boat Launch

The Spring Cocoa Classic is our kick off paddle for the 2023 Thursday Night Paddling season. We will meet at the Western Fish & Game boat ramp/kayak launch and paddle as a group to the Southeastern end of the lake. There we will get out of our boats and share cocoa, snacks and whatever anybody wants to bring around a campfire. Plan on arriving 15 - 30 min. early to unload your boat and get it ready, as all Thursday Night Paddles begin right at 6:00

Difficulty:	Basic - Short (a few hours or half-day trip); usually flat water; good weather expected; mild conditions; although twilight visibility to darkness could be a factor if late in the day.
Location:	Fernan Lake - Public Boat Launch
Directions:	Take Sherman Avenue east and pass under I90 toward Fernan Lake Village. Just past the Fernan Ranger Station turn right on Theis Dr. Follow it down to the boat ramp. Public parking is on the right.
